Foto Facial-Laser Facial-microderm abrasian

Have any of you ever done something like this?  I was at my laser hair removal appt last night and the office is having some holiday specials on these laser facials...

A friend of mine had one done a while ago and said that after a month, her skin looks great and refreshed.. I was just curious if any of you have done anything like this or similar?

PS- Im 28 and want to take good care of my skin so I was just looking into what options are out there and what experiences others may have had..

    Nope. But, have you had a regular microderm abrasian done? I think it hurts like a bitch_on the fatty areas of the face but it helps with my brown spots from my acne and makes my face feel super soft.

    Perhaps this is all laser and nothing actually touches your face?

    Ive never had microderm abrasion or anything done..lol  What exactly does it do to your face that hurts?

    I've also had microderm abrasion on my face, and like Lemon said, it hurts.  They use little tiny crystals to basically do a deep, deep exfoliation.  It felt like the nurse was rubbing sandpaper on my face.

    The machine "sucks" like a vacuum. It blows tiny crystals on your face and then sucks them back up. I thought under my chin tickled like a bitch_but on the cheek area, I had to tell her to turn it down because I started sweating from the pain. It's over really quickly so I think it's worth it in the end.

    Oh yes, the cheeks were the worst!  I about cried the first time I had it done.

    I've had three photo facials...I think they are called IPL's.  They hurt. Much worse than microderm or facial peels. I had a baby without pain meds and I still thought this hurt a LOT. But the results are fantastic.
