Need gift ideas... DH taking new job
Hi all,
My DH is taking the position as President of his company at the end of the year and it's a big deal for him and for us -- I wanted to do/get something for him to help mark the occasion. Any ideas on what I could/should do? I was thinking something with the company logo embossed (not sure where to get something like that), or a nice dinner out. Ideas? Thoughts?

When my FIL was President of a museum, for christmas the list MIL gave us for him was suits, ties, new briefcase, cufflinks, tie clips, new wallet, that kind of stuff.

i'd probably do something like the pp's suggested and a really nice dinner. maybe go have a drink at POV (or somewhere with a nice view) before or after dinner?
I wouldn't get anything with the company logo... it seems like kind of a weird gift to get from his wife, ykwim?
I like the idea of a nice watch or nice cufflinks.
