Re: 5 Things Friday
1. Happy 11-11-11 Everyone!
2. At the very end of last year, FI (then bf) and I were toying around with the idea of getting married on this day.
3. If also thought about getting married in Jamaica.
4. I'm pretty sure that I'd rather be in Jamaica getting married right now, than at my desk freezing my tush off.
5. On the plus side, I got the disc with all of our engagment pictures on it last night. I am actually kind of excited to get the Save the Date finalized and out because I think it is going to be really nice.
1) I'm pretty bummed that I can't make it to my uncle's funeral this week because I don't have my new passport yet (funeral is in Toronto).
2) I'm sooooooo glad that today is Friday.
3) Totally digging fuzzy sock right now. I'm going to buy so much more for winter!
4) We really need a new blender so that I can do my morning smoothies again.
5) Hoping that I can get motivated to vacuum the house this weekend.
1) I want Chinese food this weekend but DH and I are trying not to eat out. Stupid saving money.
2) I am really excited to go see Breaking Dawn next week.
3) I can't stand Ann Curry on the Today show. I don't know why but she just drives me crazy.
4) My district has a homemade ornament contest every year and I haven't even started making ours yet. We have won the last 4 out of 5 years and I feel like there is no way to top last years. I kind of don't even want to participate this year.
5) I got suckered into hosting Thanksgiving this year so now I have to start the process of planning everything out. I knew it was going to happen so I should have just volunteered to begin with.
1. I also was thinking I could go for some really good chinese food .
2. This is the only weekend we have free this month. I'm hoping to knock out a lot of painting. B's room and my room. Wishful thinking though.
3. We're considering going to the circus and surprising the kids with it. They've never been.
4. I'm sorta dreading the next few weeks, yet excited about them too. I have to finish my shopping for my side of the family so I can send gifts home with my parents at Thanksgiving. We'll have dh's friend (husband, pregnant wife, and 2 yr old child) staying with us for 4 days, then my parents come the day after the friends leave. My parents will be staying with us for 6 days- I love them dearly, but they also drive me crazy.
5. I realized this year to get people to visit us and be able to host a major holiday, all we needed to do was move further away from friends and family. We never lived close to any of them to begin with, but 1.5 hour drive is just a bit too close to give us the visitation and hosting rights

Losing it...Without Losing it
1. I just spent my morning at the doctors office. The majority of the time I was just sitting there waiting. All to talk to my doctor for like 10 minutes.
2. I also had to get some labs done, and I realized that the blood draw station (which was swamped) at the hospital is a really interesting place to people watch. Everyone is either there to get drug tested or they are getting an organ replaced.
3. It made me feel pretty good that I was just just there to get my cholesterol checked, lol.
4. Now I'm back in the office, scarfing down a breakfast sandwich. I'm so hungry (the labs had to be fasting labs...)
5. I have a feeling I'm not going to be anywhere near as productive today as I was yesterday.

1. My boss is firing someone today.
2. He has been here longer than I have and I feel awful for him. He's a good guy.
3. I know they have thier reasons, but the guy getting fired does not see their side, even though they have addressed it with him many times.

4. I'm going to leave early today because I don't want to be here when it happens.
5. On a brighter note, I'm really happy it's Friday. It's been a long work week.
1. I got dd these fake uggs and she loves them, so much she cries when I take them off... it is soo cute....
2. I am taking Monday off as a vacation .. yeah for a long weekend!!!!
3. Now that I finally paid off my car, I am shopping around for car insurance this morning... progressive so far is the cheapest..
4. We are starting to eat healthy again in my house and last night I was STARVING after dinner.. I managed to eat almost all of dd's halloween candy..
5. It's almost lunch time and I thinking I might get Noodles..... (there goes the healthy food)....
I HIGHLY recommend by insurance agent. It's great. You tell him you want him to check out other policies, and he does the shopping for you. He saved me a lot of money when I switched. I am pretty sure I was with Progressive at the time. He switched FI's policy too...saved him quite a bit. Let me know if you want his info. I'll PM you and give you my name so you can tell him I sent ya.
1. I have to work today and I am really not happy about it.
2. Especially since I am sick with a stupid cold, that I caught from DH, who caught it from a work buddy on their trip to Vegas.
3. I am so excited that its almost time for Black Friday shoping, I can barely contain myself!
4. But at the same time I am disappointed because I have looked over some ads, and there dont seem to be very good deals out there.
5. Even worse, a lot of the stores seem to be bringing back Mail-in Rebates. I thought the idea of Black Friday was instant savings, so you didnt have to spend as much. I hate waiting to get my money back...

2. #1 is because MIL is coming over and we always get food when MIL comes over. Sometime I think I would like to cook for her - I'm a pretty good cook!
3. She is bringing her kitten
which as I've mentioned before I'm super nervous about because my cats don't like change. I'm afraid they'll pee everywhere!
4. This was my last workday in one of the outdoor garden areas I manage. It feels SO good to have it "put to bed" for the winter.
5. The last step in this garden was mulching - I just mulched for 4 hours. WOO!
1. I've been on the computer probably 30 min. right now & it's about 100x more than I have the last 2 days!
2. I've been so tired, I just can't sleep right, I hope I get a good sleep tonight!
3. DS got sick at bedtime last night, so far so good today, so I hope it was just dinner not agreeing with him.
4. I really can't complain w/him getting sick, my kids hardly are sick, which is very unusual w/kids.
5. And it's not like we don't go out, we're out & about all the time. Hopefully this strong immune of theirs keeps up!
