and i know lots of you teachers/school employees/gov employees have the day off. jealous. hope that means you'll all be nesting a lot more during the day!
not a lot going on today..going to a friends house after my nap, but that's about it. h and i have our first baby-class tomorrow! i'm excited/nervous/scared. i'm still sort of in-awe of this whole KTFU thing. i don't believe it's real...........

Good morning! I've been in Indianapolis since Wednesday at a work conference. I'm super tired, my feet are killing me, this morning's speaker is dull, and I'm ready to go home. Otherwise, I've been enjoying myself!
For the record...as a teacher, I don't believe I've ever had off for Veteran's Day.

Good morning! I've been up since 4:30 with M. She went to bed like a good girl at midnight (unlike the night before where it was a big battle to get her to sleep), and she slept for a good 4 1/2 hours. Of course, I haven't been able to get back to sleep, and she's snoozing away. DH is in the shower already, and I have to take him to the bus stop in about 20 minutes so he can get to work on time. Then I'm going to pick him up at 2pm so we can head up to Bellingham to spend the weekend with his family. Should be fun since they recently remodeled their house (well, it's still having work done, but all the major stuff is complete - it's just small detail-y stuff that's taking forever to finish), and we'll be staying in a hotel, since apparently the guest bathrooms aren't done or something? I don't know. Anyway, I'm trying to prepare for a long weekend, and two long drives with M. I'm kind of scared, but I think we'll be able to pull it off.

Good morning!
I'm homesick for college today - we always had veteran's day off! Oh well. H took a vacation day today (*cough* Skyrim) and when I left this morning, he ran outside to check the porch, then dejectedly stuck out his lower lip and said "Santa hasn't come yet". Hopefully Santa (UPS) will bring Skyrim early in the day so H can get his fix before I get home.
So happy it's Friday... I'm meeting an old coworker for HH this afternoon, then having a little date night with DH tonight. Tomorrow, we're heading to Leavenworth. It's our little pre-Thanksgiving tradition.

Wow, everyone's been up early today!
H's company has just given his group 1 wfh day a week now, and he picked Fridays. I usually wfh on M/F and it's really weird having someone else at home too.
I'm hoping for a nice and relaxing weekend.

MH is also very excited about Skyrim. This weekend he is part of the Star Wars Old Republic beta, so he will be playing that instead. So I will be able to play the new Lego Harry Potter game! Yay!
I am at my doctor appointment right now. Hopefully they'll tell me my ovarian cyst is gone. *crosses fingers*

I'm off today because i worked Sunday but I'm sooo happy about it.
This morning has been a productive morning thus far and I have a bunch of baking in my future.
My friend's bday is today and she requested pumpkin cream cheese muffins and s'more cupcakes.

Happy Friday!!!! This is my last weekday off from work. I start back part time on Monday. We have my moms big 60th party this weekend which I am looking forward to. Other than that no major plans, just going to watch the huskies and avoid the seahawks.

I have class in 30mins.....where I have to do a presentation. blech.
I am actually pretty excited for this weekend. We don't really have anything planned, it's just exciting because I don't have very much homework at all. The past two weeks, I literally moved away from the computer (doing homework) for maybe 4 hours total....so I am excited because this weekend, I might have like a whole day and a half away from the computer!

I hope your baby-class goes well, jenn!! We just started ours (weekly ones) on the 1st. They're kind of fascinating and a little weird. JSYK, 10cm is HUGE. O_O
I definitely sympathise with you on the not-believing-it's-real thing, haha. It's like, yeah, I know I'm feeling kicks and all, but that doesn't always connect to the thought of there being a whole little person in there doing the kicking!
Tonight, we're having a NaNoWriMo Write-In/Introvert party, so I'm going to do some cleaning. Not much needs to be done, thankfully -- I just need to get the dining room table to NOT look like a disaster area, haha.
My morning was all screwed up because I forgot it was a holiday and the buses are on reduced schedule. I ended up driving in and parking at the garage next door only to then remember that street parking downtown is free on holidays. oh well.
Feedback on the job is that their torn between two of us and wanted to sleep on it last night and they should make a decision today. This has been the most stressful week.
DH is either taking me out to celebrate tonight or drown my sorrows.

Tillman and I are enjoying our Veteran's Day together. I am just now getting to relax - that is, until James gets home around 5:30ish.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
