A few days ago I vented about how DH has been F'in around with my laptop and installed some new operating system. He assured me that he saved all my files on his USB thing. Great.
Okay, so last night he goes to put them all back on the laptop and SURPRISE! the USB no longer works. Now he's "looked into it" and somehow it's going to cost $30 to get the license code to some program that will be able to bring my files back.

I'm so pissed. I seriously think I'm gonna' murder him.

Re: I'm gonna' kill DH
Ugh! I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. I hate it when they try to "fix" something but just end up making it worse then it was before. Also most of the time I never even thought anything was wrong to begin with.
I'm seriously in tears right now. All of my financial spreadsheets are on there, lots of pictures that I obviously can't get back now, my Excel sheet with all my addresses, pretty much everything of importance that you can have on a computer.
Oh, and this $30 miracle fix is apparently a joke too.
I'm seriously gonna' poison his dinner tonight.
Will the flash drive work on another computer or does it just not work at all?
So sorry! Canton Computer has helped us in the past when we got the blue screen of death. GL!
