Pity party for one please!
So I am still in Louisville and still feel like crap. I really just want to be home. If it wasn't for my students being here with me, I would have been out of here this morning. I wanted to go to an urgent care, but second guessed it when I realized that I was in a downtown area and not a suburb and didn't want to go to an inner city facility (is that terrible of me??), Luckily, I get to leave tomorrow morning. I am not looking forward to the 6 hour drive home.
On the good side, I did take a tour of the Louisville Slugger factory and got a free bat!

Re: Pity party for one please!
The Slugger factory is great and I'm glad you had a little fun, but a 6 hour drive sounds stinky!
Do the creep.
Hopefully the drive will go really quickly and you can have a shower and jump into bed as soon as you get some. Get Well Soon!!!
Yah, good judgement on that. I made a mistake of going to a hospital in a pretty bad neighborhood in Brooklyn, once. I spend 4 hours in the Emergency room waiting area, and more than 3 extra hours after the doc saw me. It was horrible.
I hope you feel better.

Thanks ladies. I made it home today and headed right to my nearest express care center. Turns out I do have strep. Time for some heavy duty anti-biotics!! I felt much better going to my own clinic rather than going downtown.
