Can someone talk Castle with me? (Spoilers)
I finally caught up on season 3 and I missed the first episode of season 4 so I had no idea that the Captain died! I thought he retired like he said he was going to. I was so upset! Anyway, I read the recap of Episode 1, season 4. I thought for sure he mailed those papers to Beckett but I guess not. When do you think we will ever find out about her mother's killer? Any ideas on who it is? I almost started to cry at the end of that episode. I'm lame, lol.

Maybe you missed the last episode of season 3, not the first episode of season 4? Because he died at the very end of season 3. They were at his funeral when Beckett was shot.
Yeah I just watched that episode last night on DVD. I hadn't seen it before but I started watching season 4 anyway. But I also missed the first episode of season 4.
For $1.99 you can get Season 4, Ep 1. on Amazon video. It's a good episode and sets out some storyline for the season.
I will spoil it for you if you'd like, but it was a pretty entertaining episode.
It's also available free on Hulu.
Honestly, I'm kind of past the whole mom's-killer plot line. I think they should've resolved it entirely last season.
ITA! It should have been resolved in the last episode of season 3!
