Would you ever think about doing it?

Asking because a lady in our birthing class is carrying a baby right now. I couldn't go through 9 months and then hand the baby over. I am pretty sure I would live in my car before doing this to bring in some income.

    I wouldn't be able to do it prior to having my own children for sure. I'd like to think that I'm selfless enough to do it but I don't think I am.

    I'm selfish, i'll admit it. 

    It would really depend on the person, our relationship as a family/friends/etc and what was going on with them and their infertility. 

    I would not do it for someone that already had kids... sorry.

    I would never do it for money. I would have done it for my sister, but luckily she has 2 healthy little girls and they are done. I would have done it for my best friend as well, but again, she has a healthy 5 yr old boy. Those are the only 2 circumstances.

    This pregnancy has been pretty hard on my physically, so I don't know that I would do it again after having two kids.

    Do you know that this woman is doing it to bring in income?  Perhaps she's carrying for a family member or good friend who cannot.  I think those are different situations than just doing it for money.

    She owns a cloth diaper business. Her husband is a lieutenant. She loves being pregnant and a mom. She has 4 children of her own. She does not the people in anyway. She said this was a way to do something she loved and help someone else. FWIW, it is in their contract that she will be paid $40 a day to pump BM for the baby. They will ship the milk once a week.
