How about a drinking post?
I have all the furniture painting that I can do right now already finished. Hubby and dog are at a friend's house. I have some laundry and dishes to do that I will probably do at least a little bit of as I watch HGTV.
Its also been 10 years today that a friend of mine passed away from a really horrible, really bizarre car accident. Can't help but feel a little nostalgic and just...down.
Re: How about a drinking post?
I'm sorry you're feeling down. The anniversary of losing someone can be really difficult, even many years later.
Tonight I'm bored out of my mind. DH has school on Saturdays, so I spend most of the day at home doing cleaning, yard work, etc. Usually by the time he gets home I'm dying to get out of the house, but tonight we just ordered take out. Now he's playing video games and I'm wishing I had somewhere to go or something to do. I'm starting to think about the bottle of cranberry wine I have in the kitchen....
Diane, sorry you are having a tough night...losing somebody close to you is horrible and something you'll likely think about every year when the anniversary comes around. Here's another drink from me.
I am intrigued by the idea of cranberry wine!
I would love to have a drink tonight...there is some Malibu on top of our fridge that is pratically calling my name! Just a few more days and I can have a drink without feeling guilty about it!
Today has been a pretty busy day. I am trying to get all the last minute stuff finished up before we have this baby. Today I have put the top together for a quilt for the little girl, I just need to sew the back on. I have packed my hospital bag, vaccumed the floor, and made bananna muffins from scratch. Still on my to-do-list is to mop the kitchen floor, sew the back on the quilt, install the car seat base, maybe change the sheets on our bed, and pick my mom up from the airport!
It's so good! I got it from a vineyard on Cape Cod. It's grape wine, but it's blended with cranberries at some point in the process. I'm not usually a fan of red wine, but this is sweeter than most reds. It's really, really yummy.
Cranberry wine sounds delish!
Jo - you are my hero! Way to be productive! I've officially just sat and watched HGTV, followed by Home Alone, this evening. DH is one his way home and is bringing me McDonalds to go with my Foster's.
