My sister just called... she was diagnosed with breast cancer on Thursday.
Hopeful that it's early/hasn't spread, but no definitive news yet. She should know more after surgery Friday.
She's an amazing women and the freakin' picture of health (no family history of cancer, etc). I'm in shock. Would appreciate it if you could please send vibes/thoughts/prayer or any other juju you've got out to her and her family.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks ladies, I appreciate all the support.
Also, far be it from me to be the face of PSAs (I'm really bad about going to the doc myself), but remember to be vigilant. Jenn (my sister) is only 43 and like I said has been the picture of health. Fingers crossed, it's early!

I'm sorry, VABeach. That is sucky news. Definitely sending vibes her way. Glad it was caught early and hope she has a successful surgery.
