7 years ago dh & i had our 1st "official" date !!

we went to dinner at a mexican food restaurant (i spilled toothpicks alllll over the floor - oops!) and then went bowling with a group he was in. we werent "officially" boyfriend/girlfriend at that time, but we were obviously moving in that direction i remember sitting on his lap and feeling so giddy, haha.

aww happy anniversary!

We had our first date about 4 years after we had become a couple. My mom was adamant that I not date until I was 16. We went to see Sweet Home Alabama and out to Chili's for dinner. I think it was the first time I rode with him driving the car too.

Our first date was on labor day weekend 2005. We met up in Faneuil Hall in Boston and went to my fav restaurant for lunch and then to a local bar for drinks. The date went ok but he ended it kinda quick, so I didn't think I would see him again. When I got home he sent me a message that he had a great time. I still laugh when I think about it today.

For our first date, we met at a restaurant in downtown Denver (Wazee Supper Club) and split a pizza. Then we walked a couple blocks to the Wynkoop Brewery, which has a pool hall on the top floor. We stayed there, playing pool and having a couple beers, until they closed at midnight. (It was a Monday night...so I still had to drive 45 minutes home and get up at 5:45 the next morning.) It was such a fun date! We like to "recreate" it every year on the anniversary. When we lived in Colorado, we'd go to the same places, and now we just make a point of going out for pizza and playing at least one game of pool.
