I lurk on this board and was looking your pattern for the alligator. I noticed your dog in the snowdays picture. I was wondering if you dont mind what breed it is? We have a dog who looks just like that but was a shelter dog so i dont know her breed! Thanks and sorry for the odd question!

Re: jl&jl
Not an odd question at all if you're a pet lover! We call Kammie a "Southern Belle". She's a mutt from a shelter in Alabama. She came to New Hampshire and then Maine through a program called Paws Across America. There were tons of dogs at that shelter and it's a kill shelter. I think there were 80+ dogs under the age of 5 after the 20 made their weigh across country.
My dad is a vet and he volunteered to take a blood sample and send it to Cornell University to find out her exact breed...for $1000.00. No thanks! She's the exact same size as a cattle dog (and she likes to herd our chickens...lol), but looks like she has some doberman, shepherd and maybe some terrier in her. That was a long answer to your question...we don't know!
She has the sweetest, gentlest demeanor, so calm and gentle with the baby...even non dog lovers love her! I have many pics of her on my blog under family. We love her so much! Given her past...it's a possibility our dogs could be related!
