Great and awful news all in the same day..T&P's
Great news being- our missing cat came home! We have had a humane trap set for 5 weeks now and last night, he showed up! I brought him to the vet today and they think everything is good except his liver test was slightly elevated. The vet said it could be because of dropping from 11 to 6 lbs in 5 weeks, or it could be something else. He gave Banner an antibiotic and we have to take him for a recheck liver test. Please send T&P's that he is just fine. We are so happy to have him back and really just want him to be ok!
Awful news being- I just got word today that a 2 ladies I work with (sisters) were shot, as well as one of their husbands. One sister's husband killed his wife, then went and killed the other lady's husband and then shot at her. The one sister is alive, but had to have surgery tonight to amputate her arm from elbow down. It is just so crazy how someone could do that. The sister's husband who did it then took off and created a huge chase on our major highway...eventually crashed and when he got out he went to shoot at the cops, but the cops shot him first. He's expected to live, but will most definitely be in HUGE trouble. Myself and all the people I work with just can't even believe how something like this could happen to such kind people. If you google search news channel 7 Spartanburg, it's been the top story. T&P's for that family are greatly appreciated. It will be a sad day at work tomorrow. I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through.

As for the shooting, that is so horrible! It is scary to know what people are capable of doing to each other, especially so close to home for you. Sending lots of T&Ps to you and your coworkers and to their family!
Wow... that's crazy... just makes me think how our lives can be changed in just an INSTANT... hang in there tomorrow.

SIDE NOTE: I didn't know you lived near Spartanburg!! I went to half a semester at Gardner Webb University and lived in Spartanburg for about 5 months! I also lived in Boiling Springs, and worked at the Ruby Tuesdays and Applebees in Gaffney!
I miss it there! The winters were so nice, and Summer was still not that bad!

Wow. That shooting is the kind of thing you see on TV or something, not something that happens to someone you know in real life. That is terrible.
