so......with the elfster exchange there, i have no idea who my pick is... so i've been going back in history a little bit searching for things with "elfster" in the title trying to find her username in a post, so i can see her siggy! and i noticed that a lot of people said they dropped out because of that one psycho/stalker chick.....or is it the same one that was on a few weeks ago (before i became MIA on that board?) or is there a new one?
i noticed you didn't drop out (because i see your name in the elfster "wall" thingy), so obv you're not too worried about it..so hopefully it poses no problem!!
i was thinking about dropping out since i hadn't been as active on that board lately, but i got lazy, forgot, and then all of a sudden i was assigned somebody, so now i'm obligated 
either way, i hope the person who picked me isn't the stalker/crazy chick.

Sorry, I just saw this! We were out of the house most of the day.
My pick never put her TB username anywhere on the profile, lol. I was able to google for the ONE post I vaguely recalled based off a random comment she made back in freaking July to figure out who it was, though! (She hasn't posted since, like, September, though, so.... hell if I know.)
Yeah, the people who dropped out were apparently all scared off by Snowypumpkinbint, lol. Which I think is kind of asinine, but whatever. SPQ wasn't THAT crazy -- just an attention whore.
I'd like to get something kind of Seattley for my pick, since she's on the other side of the country. I already got her onesie... and since the spending limit was $20, I have ~$4-5 left to get a little treat. I'm kind of thinking maybe one of those Seattle skylines made out of chocolate that one of the local chocolate companies (can't remember if it was Dilettante or Theo) puts out?

btw, she *was* a little creepy..based on what some of the other girls "dug up". there was another poster, on another board that had the same "personality" as SPQ (young, on/off bf/fi/dh), as well as the same first name....likely the same person---that had joined their fbook group..and then CALLED one of the girls on that board (because the girl wasn't smart enough to unlist her number on fbook....but besides the point).
just from what i've read, i really do think she's young...probably 16ish like she says, and has nothing better to do.. even if she *had* our information, i don't think she would know what to do with it.
as for the seattle-esque thing, your idea is much better than mine. i was thinking either a single serving of ground SBC coffee or a seattle christmas ornament. i have $5 left to spend for my limit, so i think that's the hard part for staying within budget. i don't really want to go over for a stranger (but the seattle board i might go over on and not bat an eye).

Haha, I hadn't heard about the phonecall -- that sounds like something a 16 y/o would think was a fabulous idea, lol. She definitely sounds more like an attention whore than a threat to me, though, and I definitely agree -- even if she HAD our info, I think the most she could probably think to do would be call or send texts, lol.
I don't remember her saying she was going to sign up for the exchange, but she could've done so without saying anything, too.
Wrt the Seattle-ish thing, I thought about some ground coffee, too, but... well, I'm not a coffee drinker, so it's hard for me to know if I'm picking 'good' coffee or what. Also, since we're "not supposed" to have a lot of caffeine, I wasn't sure if that'd be useful. :-/
The christmas tree ornament idea is a cute one, though!! Bartell's has some really amusing/cute Seattle neighbourhood-specific stuff in it right now, too -- like mugs and plates with Cap Hill, Ballard, etc, on 'em. (And a Chia Fremont Troll, roflmao.) I dunno, we'll see if I hit Bartell's for a coffee mug or PCC for chocolate first, I guess.
Are you wrapping yours all pretty? Or doing whatever's easiest/fastest?
well the good thing (for me) is that i have a common name, first and last, so even if she did have all that stuff, she couldn't get very far with it. back when i was in my wedding planning stages on TK, a girl who had a unique name posted too much info about herself, and she ended up getting phonecalls/emails at work, nasty emails to her boss, etc, and it got pretty bad. i just don't want a repeat of that..for anybody.

Holy... wow. Yeah, I can definitely see wanting to avoid that!! Oof. Man, why are there so many crazy people? I know I've got a pretty unique name, so I make proactive efforts to minimize my inclusion in search engines and people-finding websites.
