Hunger Games trailer
I finally found it online since I didn't see it on GMA -

I liked it but I think I was hoping for some other particular scenes (like her debut costume "on fire" and some others. I'm not sure I like who they picked for Katniss either, but I'm still excited for the movie.

hmm, i didn't like jennifer lawrence as much as i thought i would. but rue! eeek! i saw her tiny face and wanted to go ahead and cry. and i love lenny kravitz as cinna. so excited!
I agree with this, but I think you would only understand a lot of what they showed if you had read the books.

The trailer was awesome. I'm beyond excited for the movie now. I had a hard time seeing Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss but she was good in the trailer so we'll see.
ETA: I just watched it again. I love the scene where Katniss pays tribute to Rue and the people of her district all signal back. That scene gave me the chills.

You probably caught this, but pause the video at the 1:33 mark - not the whole ensemble, but there are definitely flames.
I fully admit to welling up when Gale was carrying little Prim off at the reaping, and my stomach turned at the countdown at the end. That sinister, robotic voice coupled with the shots of the crowd, to Prim, to Gale - perfection!

Me too! I loved it. I loved hearing Effie, Haymitch and Cinna. I can't wait to see the movie. If it's anything like the trailer, it will do justice to the novels.
