Our apt has an old tub that is chipped in different areas. The management company has an outside company coming to reglaze it. All I know is that we can't use the tub for 72 hours. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it going to leave a huge mess or do these companies typically clean up?
Re: Reglazing an old tub?
No...we haven't reglazed a tub.
I've never had workers/companies in my own that DIDN'T clean up. So I can't imagine that they wouldn't.
When the management company "cleaned up" after they did other work in the bathroom, they basically took a dirty sponge to wipe everything down. Leaving a white film all over the bathroom tile tub walls and the floor. It took me hours to clean it all up. I wasn't sure how much dust or debris from reglazing would be present.
We've never had an outside company do anything, just the management company (since we are renters).
this. and if they don't clean up, tell your management company and make them take care of it. it's not that messy of a job, however, so i doubt there'll be much of a mess even if they don't clean well.
