Amazing Race (spoilers)
I am not sad that Zac and Laurence went home. Laurence's attitude was driving me nuts. About 2 or 3 weeks ago when Zac asked to write the placement of the figures on the house, and Laurence just wanted to go ..and they had to go back anyways. His attitude there turned me off of that team for the rest of the time they were there. I felt bad for Zac tonight, during the dancing, because you could tell he was trying but obviously that was not his forte. (Which made me shake my head a little, because you'd think to sail a boat around the world by yourself, you'd have to develop some type of rhythm to be able to get about the boat when there is high winds and waves.)
I wasn't impressed at Eric and Cindy's decision to U-turn Bill and Cathi. Yes, they were right behind them, but they were in the front. While I understand that there is that desire to come in first, is it really that imperative when you're already in first and there were teams that weren't even at the roadblock?

Eddie and Cindy U-turned Bill and Cathy because in the previous challenge they thought they were going to get 1st place, but they lost in a foot race to the snowboarders. They U-Turned Bill and Cathy so they could get a guaranteed 1st place/prize.
I would rather have the other couple (Sandy and ?) go home, because while I didn't like Lawrence at all, I really did like Zac. I felt in every challenge Zac was always encouraging of his father, but Lawrence always had the attitude of "I expect more from you Zac, " or "I would have been faster than you." Seriously? Give your son a break. He sailed around the world when he was a teenager.
It reminded me of when one of my teachers used to say, "Now I see what type of work you can produce ... I expect it all the time."
I really liked this episode. I thought the challenges were hilarious, particularly the dancing in period costume and the bunny rabbits.
I actually liked Cindy and Ernie this time. They seemed to be getting along well and they were funny. I wish that they hadn't U-turned Bill and Cathi, but after losing out on first place by inches in the last leg, I can understand why they did it.
I can't believe Marcus and Amani sat around for the entire night and didn't even try to find an earlier flight. They are really lucky. I also can't believe that no one U-turned Andy and Tommy. They are one of the STRONGEST teams, people need to stop being nice to them.
Jeremy and Sandy can go home next. Then I can be happy with everyone else making it into the final.
Ernie and Cindy annoy me. I was glad Zac and Lawrence left. Marcus and Armani kept sneaking by barely!

As much as Ernie and Cindy drive me crazy, I think it was smart for them to use the U-Turn. They could have gotten lost on the way to the Pit Stop and then their lead could have easily been taken over by Bill and Cathy. Its a race, and you want to be in first place.
Laurence made me mad again during the dance competition. He said several times that he's used to performing in front of others and he would have been so much better at it then Zac. Um, if you thought that, why didn't YOU do it jacka$$!?! I hated the way he treated everyone on the race, especially his son and I'm glad he's no longer in the race.

Ernie & Cindy: They aren't my favorite team, but I'm OK with them. It really bothered me when they said first place was stolen from them last time. It wasn't; the snowboarders didn't cheat or use bad sportsmanship to win. They just ran faster, and Cindy gave up. I was surprised they decided to U-Turn Bill & Cathy. I wonder if it will cause them stress or regret. It was obvious neither of them were comfortable with their decision afterwards, but Fiji could help them forget about it.
Bill & Cathy are so sweet. I like watching their teamwork.
The snowboarders are my favorite team.
Marcus & Amani surprise me every time. I like them, but I've thought they'd go home for the last three or so episodes.
Jeremy & Sandy can go next. He's such a jerk.

I don't know if they were just playing it up and trying to act angry but Bill and Cathi were annoying me with their anger that they got u-turned but went ahead and used the second u-turn on the father/son. If you hate that you got u-turned so much and thought it was mean, why did you just do the same thing to another team??? That bugged me.
I cracked up when Cindy said "wow, we just met in a bar" when talking about how Bill and Cathi met. So funny.
It was obviously that Ernie and Cindy U-Turned Bill and Cathi because on the previews they showed them doing the bunny task but then on the show they churned the butter first. Bad editing, IMO.
I really don't like Laurence but I really did like Zac. He seemed so much more mature than his father. Probably a great kid.
I can't believe Marcus and Amani were able to pull through after sitting in the airport all night. Wow! I'm happy, though, because I do like them. And I also like the Tommy and Andy and Bill and Cathi.
I kind of wish there was some more drama this year..it is kind of blah.

I was completely okay with Laurence getting eliminating--he bothered me more and more with every episode. The dating couple can go next--I haven't liked them from the beginning when the guy said he needed to try the milk before buying the cow (or whatever analogy he used).
Marcus and Amani impressed me, I really thought they were going to be eliminated. Glad they pulled through though-I like them. I'm surprised no one has U-turned the surfers. I like them a lot but no one seems to consider them a threat which is strange since they seem to be the best couple. I really like that are genuinely having fun with each leg of the race. I wouldn't be upset if they won it all.
I initially liked Ernie and Cindy but Cindy's been getting on my nerves lately. Ernie seems like such a push-over and Cindy is so demanding/controlling. I guess that will either make or break their future marriage.
