we don't have anything furniture in it yet, but h re-did the lighting in the room, and i'm pretty excited about it...he's standing in the doorway taking the video, looking up slightly. with the main-light off, the rest of the lights are prefect as a night-light. the lights/stars twinkle and change colors....i love it!

lol! no...h bought a kit with 400 LED lights...each one on a long string...all plugged into one box..then he drilled FOUR HUNDRED little holes into the ceiling and pushed the lights down from the attic. it was about a two week project for him every day after work.

it was time consuming, and took patience. each one of the stars were drilled individually..then he inserted a long piece of fishing wire from the room, into the attic (so he can find the hole from the top)...then he went into the attic and pushed one of the light strings through the hole, with a dab of glue on it. then he repainted, and then each one of the strings of light had to be trimmed from the underside the ceiling.
another tough part was to divide the lights equally in order to get a good spread throughout the room, and to also work around the beams in the attic.

Oh my god, this is so amazing. I wanted to show D last night so he can do it for our nursery (eventually), but I knew what he'd say. ._. He's balking at me buying lights for our Christmas tree right now, let alone a ceiling.
