It took me so long to tell them on Saturday!!!! They didn't get to the football stadium until kickoff, so we couldn't tell them allll game. So we started to walk toward the downtown area where the shops were and I could not figure out what I was going to do. The second store we went in..I looked at Dh and said..I just need to do this already. So I saw some PSU baby onesies on a rack..picked one up and took it to my parents and told them we would need this by next football season.
The reply..."really?" lol yep. So they reacted shocked, obviously, but took the news better than I was anticipating. Of course, my mother had to ask if it was planned or a surprise....but I wouldn't expect anything less from her.
Re: F/U..Telling my parents
My nest memory is horrible. What is the background on this? Why wouldn't they be excited?
And I'm sure if they had the potential to not be excited, this weekend didn't help at all!
EDIT: I did research and found the answer to my question. I hope they come around and are more supportive of you during this! If not, lean on H's family for all that excitement!
That's a cute way of telling them.
Glad they took it ok!
