The Holidays and your SO
With the holidays approaching, Im starting my shopping...if you have a SO what will you be getting them? How much is too little to spend/too much? Did you set a spending "limit" so to speak?

Gah, I haven't even thought about Christmas yet! FF's birthday is on Sunday and I've been working on that gift. I'm doing 27 gifts for his 27th birthday with a little saying or catch-phrase for each one. I've been having so much fun with it!!
Really cute idea. When XH and I first started dating I did 8 little gifts for each night of Hanukkah. Need ideas? What do you have so far? I love little gifts!
I am not in a good place finacially so SO and I are keeping it cute and cheap. Little funny gifts.
I am getting him a funny t-shirt (he loves them, though he rarely wears them in public...) and he is getting me somthing along the same lines.
Mr. Kyk's birthday is next week and I got him a flight certificate on a WWII fighter jet.
For Christmas instead of gifts, we are going to save our money and take a trip to Brazil.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
i don't think we really set a spending limit but it will be around $350. I'm getting him new hunting boots, sattelite radio, the indoor docking station for it too and some CDs, and a few other "stocking stuffers"

I didn't want to put all of my ideas on here, because it's the internet and I don't know who could potentially see it.
Last year bf and I started dating in Oct, so we were in a new relationship at the holidays. I got him some fun wine accessories and a nice bottle of wine. He got me an iphone 4. I felt bad that he spent so much on me, and I didn't reciprocate, but I have since learned that he just buys what he thinks someone will like and doesn't worry about the price. And I no longer feel bad. He knows I am on a budget and appreciates how much thought I put into a gift that I can afford and that the recipient will like.
This year we will do the same ... we are moving in together after the first of the year and I know there are a few things he wants for the house, so that is what he will get this year.
We don't set a limit.
Would you mind sending me ideas too? I want to do this for SO
