Im still a newbie knitter. I can knit and purl(it's iffy). I want to make some scarves and possibly a baby blanket.
Do you have any patterns or tips
Thanks so much!

Re: Easy knit patterns
Ravelry.
They have the largest pattern database anywhere. You can modify the search for pattern difficulty, pattern type, yarn weight, and just about anything else you can think of.
Plus you can check out everyone else's projects for the patterns you find. The forums there are also not to be missed.
Of course, once you find something you like, you can always come back here for questions and advice.

My mom is finishing up this blanket for a friends baby and I love it so much... it's just knit and purl alternating:

ravelry is my savior- you can narrow down the patterns to find exactly what you want. I've been knitting for about a year and all my patterns have come from ravelry. they also have boards where you can ask questions and get advice
