  • LOL!

    Love it.

As a (more serious) site note, would you ever show your friends rings you liked in hopes that your BF would ask them what you liked if/when the time came?

I guess the answer to that depends on how much of a surprise you would want the proposal/ring to be.

  • Love it!  I might order that for my friend for Christmas.

  • LOL!

Before XH and I got engaged I showed him pics of what I liked.  I also talked to my diamond broker to tell her what I was imagining...it still didn't spoil the surprise of what the ring looked like or when he would propose.

Hmmm. Good question. I *think* I would if I wanted a more elaborate ring.

However, in the event I do get married again, I want a thin, solid, white gold band as a combo of an e-ring and wedding band.

For a while, I was thinking this is what I would want if I ever did it all again. But (as you know Wink ), I may have found something that I like a little better. Still pretty simple, though. Just a little more character/personality than a plain band.

I was talking to a friend about this the other day... I wouldn't want another typical e-ring... I really think I'd be fine with a plain platinum band. For me, it's not about the the "wedding" and all of the trappings the second time around, it's about the marriage and having a strong foundation.

  • Haha too funny!

I would probably give the basics of what I would like (i.e. white gold or platinum and round stones) but I want to be surprised for the most part.

My best friend works in a jewelry store, and she knows exactly what I want! lol I do want to be completely surprised if I ever get engaged again, so I had to make sure she had my back, haha
