using the patch. And I've been having the weirdest dreams whenever I forget to take off the patch when I go to bed. Also, I'm getting a little dizzy now.
Annoying, but it'll be so worth it once I'm done with them and smoke free!
(FH is quitting using gum, we figured going on vacation to a place where it's too friggin cold to smoke outside and smoking indoors is a big no-no would be a good way to get us started - we haven't killed each other yet, so I think it's a great decision, Im very proud of us!)

Keep it up!
What are you going to do with all the money you save?

Oh you should so keep a record of what you're saving and use the money from the first few months to get yourselves an "I quit smoking" present!!
Oh and I love that you're quitting!!

Congrats on the huge step! MH smokes and is trying to quit via Chantix before the baby comes. I know how hard it is for him and give you major kudos. My best friend quit using the patch and she would sometimes get dizzy in the beginning too.
You can do this!

That's great! My husband started smoking when he was 12, so quitting kicked his butt. But once he got through the worst of it, he was so much happier and healthier! He used to get some sort of respiratory illness 5 or 6 times a year, but now he rarely gets sick.
Good luck, I hope the transition isn't too rough on you guys.

Thanks you all!
I started when I was 12 as well, but have quit once before (long story). I will eventually give myself a quitting present, however for now the money I save goes straight to patches :-)
(The big present is health and saving an extra 100 euros a month on life insurance, which will go down by that amount once we've quit 2 years.)

Congrats to you on deciding to quit!
I think the going to a cold place is a great idea
Not to mention cutting out the cost of buying them! I don't know how prices are where you are, but in the US it seems like they pile on the tax more and more.
