My bff/twin had to put down her dog this afternoon. He ate something he wasn't supposed to about 6 weeks ago (they think it was onion or chocolate) and had to have a blood transfusion. Ever since then he's been on meds to help his body get back to normal, but they ended up causing his pancreas to shut down and he had to be put to sleep because there was nothing else they could do for him.
This is made worse by the fact that this same friend had to put her other dog to sleep about three weeks ago due to other serious health issues.
Needless to say, she's devastated.
She has had a terrible year between fighting throat cancer, being unemployed, and now losing both of her furbabies in less than a month. If you have some spare vibes I would appreciate if you would send them her way.
