Thanks ladies! Yes, this was my first appointment entirely, so I really needed the reassurance that I wasn't just crazy. : )
I have loved my doctor forever. She was the one that did my Endometriosis surgery a year and a half ago and has always been wonderful to me. When she came in the room, I told her I was really nervous, so she just jumped right to the ultrasound right away. It was crazy! She was just like, "Yep, look, there's your baby. And listen to the heartbeat!" : ) I have to admit there were tears in my eyes! I couldn't even look at Jeff to see if he was tearing up because that would have sent me into a bawling wreck! He was really excited, though! : )
I cannot tell you the difference I felt right after I saw the baby. I know things can still go wrong, but that isn't even in my mind anymore. I know it is in there and alive and is doing very well! I am now, finally, really enjoying all of this! Thank you all for the support you have shown to me for the last year+ and especially lately. You are all amazing, and you should know that!
