Growing up were you closer to your Mom or Dad?
Def. my mom!
Re: QOTD
Dad, for sure. No question.
I have a great relationship with my mom as an adult, but that really morphed in my mid 20's...
My dad is a truck driver and was basically home for a couple hours for dinner before he had to to bed during the week and he was home on weekends when he wasn't out hunting or fishing. But I am Daddy's girl.
Probably my mom, but I will say, as great of a relationship I have now with my parents, they weren't around a ton when I was kid. We had nannies to take care of us and my parents were often out of the house 10-12 hours a day during the week, my dad at least 12 hours.
I know my dad once said he feels bad he wasn't around as much, but I think it was part of the guilt of being successful to give us what we have vs. being home more.

My mom. My dad worked a ton so it was often just me and my mom. We didn't even take a family vacation with all 3 of us until I was 15 or 16. My dad was also the strict one
I have a good relationship with my dad now - we get each other.
