FB Tuesday?
Tuesday's not a day for anything, right? Can we make it a day to put up ridiculous FB posts? Here's one that showed up on my wall today:
Friendships are special... So lets start a friendship ring... If you are my friend click the like button and then re-post... If I don't see your name, I'll understand.
I usually just roll my eyes and scroll over these kinds of things, but the last sentence made me stop in my tracks. What the heck? Passive-aggressive much? Of course, the woman has 162 friends and exactly 7 have liked that status. I guess she's got a lot of "understanding" to do.

These stupid things are the chain letters of the 21st century.
I notice that people who post these tend to be 1) older so probably don't "get" FB as well as we young whipper snappers or 2) not the brightest to begin with.

Those things are stupid, luckily most of my friends are bright enough not to.
At the moment my FB annoyance is a girl I knew here growing up. She married a US army guy and continued a relationship which should of died out. She came to visit us in GA after they had their first baby. She contemplated staying with us and not going back because he wouldn't let her go out with friends, she wasn't allowed a DL. He had no job, his parents were verbally abusive to her etc...
Now two kids later life is magically better and he's the love of her life?! I don't get it, how can you go from leaving him (she did actually leave him and went to a women's shelter. She was kicked out for contacting him).
Then I follow someone who posts my old hometowns police scanner.
female sitting porch stairs...cop asks other cop "any words of wisdom or encouragement" cop says"she prolly won't like you" other cop.."that wasn't to encouraging"
14xx south 19th-2 adults throwing knifes around thehouse...both people drunk
9xx dilingham ave-mother came to babysitters house to pick up children but was extremely wasted. babysitter told mom to leave n shut the door.
Sometimes I read them and get a laugh and other time it's a bit depressing.

I hardly ever look at my feed anymore. FB makes it too stupid now. I click on 'more stories' and it mixes some that I haven't seen yet in with the ones I have seen and I have to go on a stupid hunt for them. WTF? I only ever check my groups, and sometimes I'll go to specific peoples' pages to check up on them.
My cousin once removed keeps posting images that have a bunch of adjectives on them, and then tagging people who fit each adjective. I'm guessing this is the latest cool thing for people in her much younger age group, but I'll just say it doesn't motivate me to wade through the aforementioned stupidity to check my feed.
I love this idea. I'm so tired of my "older" family posting stupid chit. Its like them getting email all over again..every stupid azz joke out there.
I think one of my aunts blocked me because I went off on her. She posted a YouTube clip and I watched it and it was that stupid one where a zombie or something pops on the screen to scare you. I jumped and screamed and woke u p DS. I was furious so I went off on her LOL
