That time of the year again - help
Re: That time of the year again - help
I saw "local beer" and almost didn't read on.
I went with option 3 because that's what I would get. Know that at least one of your votes has a vegetarian bias.
Option 3 would be my second choice.
I think all of our votes will have a bias of some sort.
I don't eat beef and hate mushrooms...chicken it is!
I voted for #1. For these types of things, I almost always choose the red meat option and it rarely fails me.
I also always choose against chicken. My circle of friends has an informal "no chicken at nice restaurants" rule and if someone orders chicken they are mocked.
That leaves the portabello mushroom option, which is only there to appease the crazy vegetarians
This was essentially my thought process too.
Mock away, Diana.
But there isn't a red meat option! I'm kind of surprised by that.
I'm going with the ribs! Thanks everyone!
Are the ribs pork?

Good question! I thought all ribs were pork but a google search shows that there are beef ribs too! I can't say I've ever had beef ribs before so now I am intriqued and maybe trying something new..
Yay for new things!

Pork=red meat in my twisted food world.
I know it's the "other white meat" but I think of it as more meaty because of the texture.
I think at these types of events chicken can often be a bit dry, that's part of why I vote against it. My circle of foodie friends can be very judgey and some of it rubs off.
