something frivolous you want?
Kind of a poll, but is there something that is way out of budget that you really want right now?
I really want a pair of Frye boots and a Mac. We bought our PC in 2003 and it is old and really really slow. We have iPads to surf the net, but to actually do anything it's a PITA so I avoid doing much at all on it.

I want a coffee table that is a drum set. It would look nice with our couch and it would be a lot of fun, but they are expensive and probably not very practical. In order for it to fit in our house we would need the 2x4 model.

I really don't have any reasonable wants right now. Everything is frivolous, which isn't helpful given that my birthday is in 2 weeks and Christmas isn't far after.
I really want a sapphire and diamond right-hand-ring from Blue Nile that's about $4k. Yikes. I would also love a new car.

A minivan is not frivolous so I'm not counting that.
New shoes. lots and lots of new shoes. I'm putting off buying any clothes for the time being so my shopping urge is focused solely on shoes.
Bedding sets - 3 of them. 1 for the guest room and 2 for our room - 1 quilt and 1 comforter.
I already have all of the above things and they are less than 3 years old, but I want to replace them all. The quilt we have I LOVE but it shrunk in the wash (
) and I'm over the comforter. The guest room set was super cheap which I thought would be fine for a guest room that has *never* been used but the comforter is *way* too small for the bed even though it is technically the right size.

To have my engagement ring re-set. I would keep the overall design, but I would change a few things in terms of construction and have the whole thing be a lot lower/closer to my hand. It's too high so I end up not wearing it often or wearing it and then taking it off and leaving it somewhere in the house and misplacing it!

Oh where do I begin?
A pair of Hunter Boots. However my man calves dictate that I get the Huntress style and I never find those bad boys on sale. $125 for a pair of rubber rain boots is too steep for my blood.
... every single day of forever.
A custom pair of boots. Between having wide feet and large calves, there's little-to-nothing available off the shelves, but I loooove boots. One day I'll have a pair.
A crap-ton of workout clothes. I have three sets that work just fine and do the job, but I want more, just because.
New towels and sheets. I've decided I want all white for everything even though there's nothing wrong with the stuff I have. I just want to change it.

Not really frivolous but, I'd love a well sized SFH. With an updated kitched, a well designed master bedroom, additional 3 rooms for kids, an in-law suite, a nice backyard, a chef and gardner. Oh yes, and a driver too, because I really hate driving.
I'd also like a Macbook Pro, both the Nikon D3X and Canon 5D MII with all the fancy glass.
I had to read this 10 times before I could figure out what in the world it meant. Seeing the picture of your pup finally clicked for me though.
My frivolous wants...well, i kinda already sorta maybe just ran out and got what I wanted for myself. (see boots post from last week)
Besides that I have a whole pile of other wardrobe related wants - new belts, scarves, fun jewelry, etc. It's like all the time I spent looking at assorted red carpet and OOTD blogs over the past 3 years have finally caught up with me and the insatiable want for accessories is getting a little ridiculous.
All my other wants are pretty practical - like...doors! opaque walls!
