Turkey Notes
I'm not sure if anyone did Turkey Notes on Thanksgiving, but we did as kids. It is a tradition that started in Davenport (where my grandparents are from....they started it with us kids). I wanted to do it this year and have it be from Harli. It is supposed to be a secret and you have to guess who Turkey is. You wrap the Turkey Notes in tissue paper and tie it at the end with ribbon. Turkey Notes are little poems:
Turkey Red
Turkey Blue
Turkey Says
I love you
Turkey shouts
Turkey talks
Turkey says
Lets Go Hawks
Those are just a couple. I need ideas on more. I would like to have each person (13 people total) have one. The poem has to start with the word Turkey (hence, Turkey Notes) and rhyme.
Any creative ideas????
