i need unique storage ideas for our bathroom.

it is small. there is no medicine cabinet. i need a place to store deodorant, mouse, shaving cream, lotion. the is a pocket of space that is 10 inches deep and about 36 inches high and 10 inches wide.

i need help thinking out of the box. need something user friendly too as the dh is not the best at putting things back as they were.....

sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.

Re: i need unique storage ideas for our bathroom.

  • please tell me you store mousse and not a furry mouse Stick out tongue because i'd tell you to get rid of the mouse and you just freed up some more space!

what sort of vanity do you have? i love the pedestals, but a friend told me I'd regret it as there is no storage space. so, i hope you have some drawers or cabinets on your vanity to start.

some of these are creative ideas: http://homeklondike.com/2011/02/09/10-bathroom-storage-ideas/

you need a skinny cabinet - right? or maybe you need to install some little shelves into this space- we've bought shelf pieces at lowes and cut to size to fit the side wall of a double closet from floor to ceiling - that sort of bracket/shelf set up might help for that 3' ht space.

  • If you have a vanity that has doors, you can get a canvas shoe holder and secure it against the inside of the door.  This will give you many pockets to slip things in.

Stole that from Pinterest.  I suggest joining or  looking there because they have SOOO many good organizational ideas.

  • Ive seen people put shelves above the door so that they can store extra stuff like towels and toiletries and they are out of the way.

This is our vanity. It is a great solution for some storage.  The depth from the wall is 10.5 inches.  It's called Ikea Lillangen.

I like the idea of shoe storage hanging thing inside cabinet.

we have a cubby we can add shelves to for towels, etc.  I have been perplexed by the toothbrush storage and J's vintage razor.

was debating this on the wall but glass + the sugard family = potential breakage. image

Another option is custom shelf for area between sink and tub.....
