food gurus - I need advice
I'm making these egg crepe things for dinner. Egg crepe stuffed with wilted spinach, parm cheese, and mushrooms. The recipe called for, wait for it, "spices". By default, the only spices I know to add are salt and pepper.
Do you have any ideas on what "spices" would go well with mushrooms, spinach, parm cheese, and egg?
Thanks for any advice. I'm a recipe follower not a recipe modifier!
Re: food gurus - I need advice
It may mean just salt and pepper--some recipes have started to just say "Salt and Pepper" and then the directions are to add to taste.
If you wanted to up the flavor a bit, I'd add some herbs--thyme or parsley.

They turned out great. I ended up using salt and pepper, a little bit of dried rosemary, which tasted good but the woodiness of the needles wasn't so great, and a small clove of pressed garlic that I put in when wilting the spinach.
Thanks for the advice!
