i got selected for a focus group
has anyone done this? it pays $75 for 3 hours so i figured what the hell. this one is a little different though because it's a "mock" focus group for training focus group mods.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

I did an online focus group years ago. I received shampoo and conditioner in the mail and tried it, then participated in a chat about it. The chat lasted an hour and I made $60. That was easy.
I get e-mails regularly about local focus groups. I haven't been able to go to any tho (it's hard to get away from Genna for long enough, not to mention needing a babysitter). They often range in time from 1-3 hrs and the pay is always around $100-$200. J has applied for a couple and hasn't met the qualifications. Boo!

I've never even heard of being part of a focus group. I mean, I know they exist but never thought to look into the opportunity to be a part of it. Interresting! I'd do it too.
