Poll 3: Panhandlers
There have been times that I've tried to give food/water to a panhandler, and they gave me dirty looks and basically said to shove it because I wasn't giving them money.[Poll]

More often than not, if I am at a dining establishment and a panhandler comes in, I try to buy a meal for the person and have it sent over. Many times I have been told that it was already taken care of by the manager or another customer.
I will still offer water and food, but I get turned down a lot.
Me too. I usually carry a fruit with me which I offer. I voted for "Yes. But they thanked me anyway.?
