Hello my crafty friends!
Last year we did Breakfast with Santa for my daughter's 1st birthday party - favors were pancake mix, tiny containers of maple syrup, and some felt food (eggs, bacon, pancakes). Loved this.. but many (most?) of the guests will be the same this year so wanted to mix it up.. want to avoid plastic toys/candy/cookies/sweets..
Anything else you can think of? I wouldn't be opposed to more felt food (just of a different food).. I can do basic knitting.. my mom sews.. For whatever reason I'm kind of blanking on this.. would love to stick with the theme and send people home with something useful and creative..
TIA for your ideas!
Re: ISO ideas - Breakfast with Santa Party Favors
what about doing a cookie mix and some cookie cutters. then you could do the felt food and do cookies. You could make up a tag about making the cookies for santa or something.
or doing reindeer mix or something like that?
sorry its early and I have had no sleep, so thats all I got!

Great idea.. I'd really like to stay away from sweets though, there are so many around the holidays! Maybe I could do a cookie cutter with some pancake mix.. for shaped pancakes? Thanks!

I remember doing this craft as a kid... maybe you don't have a big supply of baby food jars anymore, but if you do, it's pretty cute. We used felt instead of construction paper. It makes a good holder for any kind of small objects.
