happy wednesday! we're halfway through the week!
my head is still pounding and uncomfortable today..but i *did* have a scare yesterday. i talked to my doc, and worst case scenario was that i would've needed an to go to an emergency l&d. i had high blood pressure at my last appt, and if i still had it (yesterday), it would've/could've been really really bad. i went to a walk-in, and the dr dx me with tension-headache, caused by stress. over the phone, my nurse dx me with headache caused by my cold.....so one or the other. regardless, i slept tons yesterday, but it still won't go away. boooo.
prenatal massage today. woo!

I hope your headache gets better Jenn.
I'm at work and I have a couple of things that must get done. I have a late meeting with my boss and I'm not really looking forward to that. Oh well. Half of the librarians are gone the rest of the week so I am hopeful it will be quiet. Pretty much everyone (but me) is gone Friday.
I tried making a cake last night that failed. So I tried a second cake and it sort of turned out but it seems really dry this morning. I think I am going to make something else when I get home from work. I need to take the cake to dance tonight as one dancer is moving away. I'm feeling pretty discouraged by my baking failures.
Jennlin, towards the middle and end of my pregnancy, I had horrible headaches. They were more like migraines. I guess it's pretty normal during pregnancy. Anyway, the only way I was able to relieve them is just by going to bed. I hope you get yours figured out soon.
I'm feeling yucky today - mentally mostly. My birthday is coming up and for some reason, I always get really depressed around my birthday.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Jenn - no scares! I hope your headaches/migraines go away.

I'm in a bit of a funk this week. AF is making me really lazy, and I am having the hardest time finding a stylist/colorist who is available on Saturday morning. Football season makes it sooo hard to schedule hair stuff.

Im so glad the week is half over but stressed at the same time! I have so much do do in the next 2 weeks that I dont even know where to start.
I am ready to go back to bed though and get a nice extra nap in. I ended up not having to work today so I got up to get my work out in early. Most depressing thing though is I took a shower after then went to get my jeans out of the dryer and they seriously felt 2 sizes to small. I hate freshly cleaned jeans just for that reason! Stupid dryer lol
Well im off to tend to a baby thats walking and getting into everything while trying to make a few lists to go by for the next few weeks (I love making lists!)

I am working til 2 then headed to a dentist appointment (no fun!) then headed back to work until 6. we have plans to meet some friends at a sushi restaurant in Bellevue for dinner.
Today was our first day of the house cleaner coming (we decided on 1x per month) so I'm SO excited to go home to a clean house!
Jennlin -- i hope the massage helps. Is there anything else you can do to reduce stress? I hope you feel better soon.

lol, i'm not sure. for the last few weeks i've been telling H about how packed our schedule is and how i wasn't happy with it...so we've tried to eliminate things here and there...but that didn't help. i think it's just this week was the "start" of our packed winter, so that's probably what triggered it.

Didn't you say you want to hire someone to clean your house, but your H isn't on board? Mama and baby health are a dang good reason to get on board.

I hope it gets better after your massage! Also, can you take a couple days off of work to rest? Sounds like you need it...
Today is going okay for me. It's been slow getting started - I've been so tired lately. I have to tidy up since BFF comes over tomorrow. M also has her 2 month checkup tomorrow. We'll see how much she's grown - she looks like she's gotten bigger, for sure, so I want to see what the numbers say.
DH is still mad, but getting better... I just hope this blows over before Thanksgiving...
