I currently have an iPad 1, it had my music, apps, books, movies, etc.
I will be receiving an iPad2 as a gift from my company, and I plan on giving my iPad 1 to my husband.
If I sync my iPad 1 with iTunes on my comp, then sych the iPad 2 with my iTunes everything should switch over, correct? I can then wipe the iPad1 clean, and let my husband have fun?
How do you wipe an iPad clean? (to remove my e-mail, music, apps?)
Re: iPad1 to iPad2
If your music, apps, books and movies were purchased from Apple, then yes you should be able to get them on your iPad 2 by using the same Apple ID.
If you've added your own music and books, as long as they're in iTunes on the computer you're syncing with, you can add them to the iPad 2.
You can restore the iPad to factory settings through iTunes, it's on the main screen when you plug it in.
