WTF Wednesday
WTF is with me being able to drop Cody off at daycare without any emotional issues? It sucks being away from him all day and I miss the munchkin like crazy but I don't have too much trouble leaving him. Could be because the kids are so excited when he arrives and he's all smiles and chatty when he gets there and he's happy when I get there to pick him up.

Shell-Don't take this the wrong way, but your personality to me, seems very level headed and logical. I wouldn't worry about not being sad as much as you realize that he enjoys daycare and you can see that the other kids can't wait to see him. You know that he's getting love and attention while you're at work so rather than be emotional you feel comfort in that he's in a great environment.
WTF boss, no I'm going to take my own leave b/c the network is supposed to be down today and tomorrow. Which you can see isn't b/c the contractor hasn't shown up yet. If the govt wants to hand out admin leave, fine, but otherwise I will sit here and play on my phone.

Thanks Shaina! The daycare provider said the same thing. I guess I always looked at it as something that had to be done and just accepted it.

Shelley- don't feel bad about not feeling bad. It sound like you prepared yourself well for it. Now if you were excited to get rid of him everyday that would be a different issue.
WTF is with my foot hurting. I'm pretty sure it's plantar fasciitis. I need to call the doctor.
Shelley- don't feel bad. You prepared yourself and you can see every time you drop him off that he's happy and in good hands. You obviously chose a great place for him to be when he can't be with you!
WTF is with my coworker. She's allegedly leaving the company in a few months and is "trying" to transition some of her duties to others in the company, including me, but she can't let go of anything. I've "owned" a particular process for 2 months now and have yet to actually do anything because she keeps doing it all. I'm about to flip out.
