As we first reported, Justin not only planned to take a DNA test when he returned to the U.S., he was going to sue Yeater and her lawyers for making a bogus claim. And, as we reported, Justin's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, called the attorneys and informed them a suit was looming.
Apparently, they got the message.

My husband, the cynic (or optimist in this case as I was hoping it would be true for entertainment purposes! ha), has a theory that she was paid off to withdraw the case because the paternity test came up positive. I said, "But the test wasn't scheduled until next month." He said, "Think about it. That's the perfect set up. People don't think the test has taken place so they would never suspect a pay off. He could have taken the test, it came up positive and they paid her off to go away. If it were negative, when the date came around they could just do an announcement and it could be a big publicity thing because people were waiting forever for the announcement."

I just read on MSN that the case has not been dismissed, it is just being settled out of court.

Not going to lie, its the first thing I thought of when I read that the suit was dropped.
IMHO, I think the baby has similar features to Bieber.
