Since everyone likes saving money, what are your favorite inexpensive or no cost gifts to give and receive? Have you ever given something that has generated a really good response?

Re: Gift s/o
I have given my SIL a candle or candles from Yankee Candle every year and she loves it. Actually, she says she looks forward to it b/c it is different every year.
I try to go with a theme for the year. For example, when she got married in Dec. 07 in Mexico, I got her a candle of Christmas on the Beach
Apparently, alot of thinking goes into these candles.
I have sewn tote bags etc for family. Basically just the cost of materials and my time.
I am trying to think of something I have been given that was low cost type that I enjoyed, but can't think of anything right now. I am sure there is something though.

The ones I get the best responses on are generally my scrapbooks or photo-related gifts. I gave my mom a little "brag book" size album a few years ago of pictures of her and I as I was growing up. It's still one of her favourites and cost maybe $20.
