The picture in my signature, which is frozen in time thanks to the lovely asterisk in my SN, is nearly a year old. . . So, I thought I'd share a picture of LO from a recent birthday party that he/we went to.  My friend caught him in a near perfect moment!

    I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.

    Thanks!  He is a good kid, I can't believe how quickly he's growing up.  He is talking more and more every day.  He is slightly obsessed with shoes right now--he's realized that when we put our shoes ON, we go OUT.  He can often be seen running around our house in his pj's and sandals, regardless of the weather outside.  He thinks it improves his chances of getting out.  I think we have a future Boy Scout--always prepared.

    I was thinking the same thing.

    I wish I looked like my mom. I got asked if I was adopted multiple times.

    You know LO loves your darling daughter! Did your DH tell you we ran into them (not literally) down by the waterfront? We do need to get together soon!!

    Thanks everyone! He is growing up so quickly. I get choked up looking at pictures of when he was itty-bitty. He is so much fun now, but since he'll be our only, it is bittersweet.
