Moms and moms-to-be, we want to hear about what's going on with you, your babies and bumps. Feel free to be a complete AW.
So, what's new? Ups? Downs?
Bonus points for PIPs!

Re: Bumps and babies!
Apologizing in advance for crappy phone pics.
Jordan killed his firs deer this weekend. He has been hunting with Eli since he was 2. He got a real gun for Christmas last year but we made him take a safety course and lessons before going hunting with it. Of course Eli is with him and helps him but he was so proud of himself.
Preston is a monkey. He has learned how to climb up in the kitchen chairs so he has a new favorite spot.
First, kaesha's post got me thinking - might we extend B&Bs to TTC updates as well? I don't want to start a new TTC update thread to make anyone feel awkward (because I know not everyone wants to talk about that) but if someone does want to update, chat or vent, I'm all ears for that.
Anyway Darian had his 4 month checkup yesterday. The dr was happy with his progress and everything looks normal. Would you believe that he went from being 50th percentile weight / 75th percentile length previously, to now 75th percentile weight / 90th percentile length?? It's nuts, he's already in some 9 month clothes for certain brands. No wonder my biceps have been looking so great lately LOL.
Also, it turns out that chunky thighs bleed quite a bit when pricked
but he was fine after his shots, just cried for a few mins.
I took his 4 month photos on Monday but they're still on my computer, so I'll have to post later.

Wow, I can't believe how fast Darian is growing ringy! My kids were the exact opposite. They went from 50th percentile down to (Gibson) is now 3 percentile and (Izaac) is on the 20th percentile. It would be weird to go the other way for me lol.
Gibson is on medication now, it's been 2 weeks and I'm starting to see some improvements. He has been monitored closely by his ped. and is doing better on this one than on the last one. He took the first kind of med. the first day and had chest pain so I had to rush him to the hospital. I'm kind of a super-worrier when it comes to that kind of thing. But, since being on the new medicine, hes' been fine. It's hard to believe how much more calm a child can be when given the right medication.

Jackson is only waking up once a night now, which is freakin amazing. DH loves to spend time with him, so he's been the one waking up. I really think DH knows how mean I get when I'm tired, so that might be part of the reason, too. Granted, Jackson is such a crazy eater that he screams bloody murder when you stop him for burps or when the bottle is finally done. I wish we knew how to get that to stop, other than continuously feeding him until he throws up everywhere. He likes to puke and rally...go figure.
Next week will be his 4 month check-up and shots, and I'm excited to see how much he's growing. We're getting into 9 month clothes as well, partly because of his fluffy cloth diapers and partly because he has a long torso like mom. Poor thing also has short legs like mom, which makes his footed clothes really funny looking.
No pics here since FB won't let you save from there anymore. We just uploaded some from the other day with the dog.
ringy, I think it's a great idea to add TTC into the check up.
Donna, it's great to hear that he's responding well to the meds.
I'm doing well. I'm over my cold so I'm feeling really great. No luck getting back into exercising this week, but I am making an attempt to get more steps in each day, so that's good.
Here's a picture I grabbed for Hump Day Bump Day, but it's kind of sad. The bump is looking tiny still. I'm attempting to do bump/kitchen progress pictures on my week-up day, so I'll try to grab one of those tomorrow.
Excuse the messy hair, I had no motivation to blow dry it this morning.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
If there are no objections, I'll open up the update post to include TTC. I had thought about that originally, but wasn't sure how people would feel about it. I know for me, I feel like I'm being a debbie downer when I talk about it, so I wouldn't want to bring people down.

Sushi, we're all here for you. Personally you wouldn't bring me down. Any support you want I'd be more than willing to give. I know that sometimes it makes things easier when you can talk about it.

I agree. There are also times I am wondering how TTC is going for some of you ladies, but I don't want to come out and ask just in case you don't want to talk about it.

Edmund is healing great! He still has a couple dissolve-able sutures left in his nose which is fine. His surgeon said that he has entered the ugly scar stage and that we need to continue with the scar treatment and massage vitamin e oil on it a couple times a day to get it to stretch so it doesn't pull the lip up.
He has been in a lot of pain the last couple days because he is backed up (tmi i know) and I've been trying everything to get him cleared out and it's just taking it's time. I have been on my own with him the last 2 days because H has been busy and it's hard when all he does is scream.
RE: adding TTC to the post, honestly for me I still cannot handle a lot of TTC talk, mostly because it kind of sucks to remember that conceiving a child is something that will never happen for me again. However, I can just skip over those posts. Just like I do the bump posts if I'm having a hard day.
I have a down this week, being a working mom is really hard. I get home from work and I'm exhausted, and as a teacher I have a million things I need to do when I get home, but all I want to do is snuggle with my little guy. Do any other experienced working moms have tips on how to balance work and being mommy?
Things are going well with me other than those things I have already mentioned in my other posts. The pain when running really freaked me out and I think it's what prompted my bad dream. This pregnancy has really opened my eyes to how anxious my personality is.
I 'think' I might have felt a flip yesterday when I was laying in bed waiting to get up. I just keep wondering if all this is in my head. I got some stabby pains today and wasn't quite sure what was going on. I really don't think they can be kicks because baby isn't that big to make things hurt like that.
Otherwise I'm feeling good but tired which I thought would go away or get better in second trimester.
It's definitely different now that we've starting telling more people. Also, I have my anatomy scan booked for Dec 6th, yay! Next appointment is next Thursday.
Here is my bump today. It's definitely coming along but I just feel kind of 'thick' and not really like a nice pregnant bump.
MO what I have found is the exhaustion is hard to get rid of during the week. On weekends I would nap when they napped. What I try to do is when I get home it's all about the boys. Unfortunately if I bring work home then it usually turns into a late night. When they were younger, I worked when they were napping. Now, it's after they are in bed. My body has adjusted to functioning better at 6 hours of sleep. Now if Zach would let me get that every night, I would be golden.
Completely agree. I love to hear about how the moms and littles are doing.
