Confession
I started putting up Christmas decorations. Well, one so far, but still. I mostly blame you all! Ok, not really. I'm usually in and/or teaching school so i don't have time for it till after finals/school holiday festivities. That and we're hosting a mini brunch after the T-day 5K, so i wanted it to look festive and i don't have much fall/Thanksgiving stuff.
I've never started before Thanksgiving before but this year i plan to have: outside lights, tree (lights and garland only), mantel, wreath and festive towels. Not too much (right???).

I have the wednesday before Tday off... I have a bunch of baking to do that day so I think I might decorate that day.
And I just had a cookie and milk. It was amazing.
I've been drinking soynog+coffee since Friday. Makes every afternoon a good one

The nerve pain is ok if I don't walk - I have a call in to my doc because I walk all day at work! Yesterday was rough and I could not wait to get home, nap and take pain meds! When I talked to the nurse she said I might have to stop working again - as much as I hate getting up in the morning, this house gets boring! We will see what the dr says.
I need to try and eggnog latte, I can't remember if I have ever had one!
It tastes best with espresso, but soynog is a lot thinner than eggnog, so coffee might be better with regular nog. Today i used instant (via) and it was just as good.
You're working part time, right, like two full days a week? Can you do part days all week instead?

I am doing 4 - 5 hour days. I might try cutting it down to maybe 3 hours? Then working up. I think it will just take time for the nerves to heal.
I will have to have a treat on Friday after work - Eggnog might be it! I can't wait for a Gingerkid latte...
ETA - Gingerkid = Gingerbread

I'm usually staunchly against pre-Thanksgiving Christmas decorating. But i'm game. Plus dh found out today about another business trip, the week after Thanksgiving, so i'm going to embrace it.
