Let me start by saying I have no reason to think the salon will make me pay, but I'm geared for a fight if they do.
About 2 weeks ago I got my hair cut at a salon I've gone to before, but with a stylist I had never used. While I was there I made an appointment to go back today for a blow dry. After two weeks, I've realised I really don't like the cut. I have thick hair and he left the layers too long for them to curl properly. The cut is boxy and just not flattering. I didn't say anything at the time because he had blow dried my hair straight so I dind't know what it would look like curly/wavy (how I normall wear it), and sometimes cuts just need time to settle.
My appointment is in two hours and I just went in and asked if they could fix the cut. The stylist himself wasn't there, but the receptionist said it'd be fine and alloted more time for me.
I'm actually using a voucher for the blow dry today and shouldn't have to pay anything. Do you think I'd need to pay for today's cut/fix? I did pay full price the cut two weeks ago.
What say ye, IN?
Re: Should I have to pay for this? Re: Bad haircut
A couple of years ago, I had to get my colour redone because the guy made me look like a zebra (not really, but it felt like it to me!) and I didn't realise until I was in a shop changing room the following day when I was under bright lights. I went back during the following week and he made an appointment to fix it for me on the Saturday and didn't charge me a thing...
(I have really dark hair and he put highlights in that were WAY too bright and I felt like a zebra with them... or a complete knacker, the kind you see in dodgy places in London/Dublin/and british city!!)
