    1. Hobbies? Reading, running, working out. I don't know if it counts as a "hobby," but I do a lot of volunteer and community stuff as well.

    2. If you were to change careers, what would you choose? Something with non-profit management/fundraising. This may be an actual possibility if my current job search doesn't pan out like I'd like.

    3. Favorite thing about your job(s)? Teaching classes.

    4. Favorite food to make? Hmmm, I don't know if I have a favorite. I love to cook. Maybe chocolate chip cookies or baked brie.

    5. Favorite food to eat? Cheese fries.

  • 1. How did you get into philanthropy work to begin with? (It's awesome, by the way, that you do so much!)

    2. Describe your perfect date (the activities, not the person)

    3. Which family member are you closest to and why?

    4. How did you meet the friend you've had the longest?

    5. It's 11pm on a Saturday. What are we most likely to find you doing? What about at 2pm on a Tuesday?4pm on a Sunday?

  • When is your next day off?

    Whats on your Christmas wishlist?

What is your favorite book of all time (if it's EPL and I think it might be, pick another favorite as well)?

    1. How did you get into philanthropy work to begin with? (It's awesome, by the way, that you do so much!) I joined a service org after a boyfriend and I broke up. I was looking for a distraction and new people to hang out with. That was almost three years ago, and I have fallen in love with it.

    2. Describe your perfect date (the activities, not the person) Dinner at Picasso with a bottle of red wine, a play or musical, then a chill bar.

    3. Which family member are you closest to and why? I'm not nearly as close to my family as I used to be. My life seems to have taken a very different path than theirs. I am still pretty close to my dad, but we talk sports and not really about more serious stuff.

    4. How did you meet the friend you've had the longest?  Of the friends I see and talk to regularly, Wendy is the one I've known the longest and I met her four years ago at the first local GTG. Other old friend that I don't see very much at all, speech class in HS Sophomore year.

    5. It's 11pm on a Saturday. What are we most likely to find you doing? What about at 2pm on a Tuesday?4pm on a Sunday? Saturday depends on if I had to work at my PT job. If I didn't work or got off early, I'm probably at a bar with friends. If I worked the closing shift, I'm probably in sweatpants with a glass of wine at my BF's house. Tuesday at 2pm, I'm at work at the FT job. 4pm on Sunday I'm probably also at work, at the PT job.

    I work too much.

  • imageWendyToo:

When is your next day off? Tuesday I'm actually off from both jobs, have a meeting Tuesday night, though! Wanna hang out? Or next Saturday (26th) afternoon? I get off at 4 at the latest, possibly 11 am.

Whats on your Christmas wishlist? Naked Palette, big comfy no-elastic-at-the-ankles sweatpants, workout clothes, boot socks, new job.

What is your favorite book of all time (if it's EPL and I think it might be, pick another favorite as well)? Pride and Prejudice is the favorite of all time. To Kill a Mockingbird is up there, too. Summer Sisters by Judy Blume is an old standby, and EPL definitely ranks.

One or two causes you're most passionate about?

You mentioned that you love teaching classes - what classes do you teach?

Favorite charity/nonprofit to work with? IAO and Deluxe Craft Fair

One or two causes you're most passionate about? 1. Eating/buying local - I'm trying to improve myself in this area, but it can be difficult and expensive. 2. Arts for kids.

You mentioned that you love teaching classes - what classes do you teach? I teach library stuff, so mostly how to research and use our resources. There is a lot of "this is a database, you use it to find articles", etc. I like the higher level classes more because I can get more in-depth.

Favorite spot in OKC (can be a restaurant, a park, anything)? Dang, this is hard. I can think of my favorite spot in some other cities, but not OKC. I do love the Skirvin, and the whole Crown Heights area. My favorite place in Norman (and maybe anywhere) is the Great Reading Room at the OU library.

Beatles or Stones? Beatles x 1000

    1) Do you listen to music when you run? If so, what's on your playlist? Yes, and while I lift, too. Mostly rap and hip-hop.

    2) Did you play any sports growing up? Softball practically my whole life, with a few years of basketball and swimming thrown in.

    3) Do you have any regrets in life? Yes. :)

    4) What's on your Christmas wish list? See response to Wendy above. I'm too lazy to type.

Do you have a pet? Want one? I do have one. He is an adorable dumb little shih tzu.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Probably more of an introvert. It takes me a while to feel comfortable and open up around people. Once I am comfortable though, I never shut up.

Nestie on a national board you absolutely can't stand? I don't know if "can't stand" fits exactly, but Edie on ML drives me bonkers. She is much too free spirit/flowy/whimisical/optimistic for my tastes.

how many beers does it take you to get drunk? 5-6 good beers

what were you like in high school compared to now? I'm a lot less awkward and insecure now.
