any mommy and me groups you can recommend? i am willing to travel to bergen county.
right now we are on the waiting list for new city library (im not a resident of west nyack or new city so i dont have priority!) lo lovesss music so im leaning toward something to that nature since he is only 7 weeks. it seems like all library groups give priority to residents which isn't a big deal if my library did some sort of baby group!

Check with your hospital. I was in mine hospital group for J and went 1 time so far with both but they are Mondays and lately we have been packed on Monday. I liked them because most of the women had kids my kids' ages. So we could relate more.
Look at all local libraries. I went to other ones with no sign up or waiting list.
There is a Little Gym in Nanuet I think that has classes for 6 weeks+
MeetUp.com look for ones that suit you. I think Kendra316 had a group on that page too.
Mommy and Me swimming. J has been swimming now for 8 months 1x a week and I plan on starting C once the holidays are over. We do private lessons but they have groups too at most places.

im not comfortable taking him into the water yet since he is so young and looking more for a music/gym atmosphere.

Little Gym went bankrupt and disappeared with everyone's money last week. So messed up.
Check out Rockland Mommies on meetup and on FB. Now that the colder months are coming, we do lots of indoor walking, different malls, ikea, playdates, etc. There is a childrens musician who is giving free concerts at A Matter of Health in Nanuet in Dec (on meetup calender), Nyack library def has classes for younger and Nyack might too.

Lisa, you do??? How have we not run into each other?? I go to Piermont on Monadys at 11 with Miss Nancy and Tappan on Thursdays at 11 (we didn't go today).
LOL...We go to Piermont at 10...but we've missed the past few, and we go to Tappan at 10:30. I did go to the 11:30 one once a few weeks ago. The 11's are a little on the late side for us because she usually naps from 11-2. Maybe I'll catch you soon! Today was the last day for Tappan.
