Deceptively Delicious VS.The Sneaky Chef

Anyone have any experence with either? Tips?

Ella isn't into eating veggies now, and I feel SO bad if she doesn't. And I think she gets it from me, as I"m not a huge veggie eater, her, like me, am a fruit person :)

SO I thought anything to sneak in that extra goodness, why not.

Re: Deceptively Delicious VS.The Sneaky Chef

  • We eat from the Double Delicious cookbook often. It's the adult version of deceptively delicious, I think. What I like about her recipes is that they're still tasty and she uses things that are already in the pantry. No oddball ingredients. Just normal food. She also uses about three basic purees so I know what to have on hand in the freezer already pureed. That could be the case with Sneaky chef as well. I've just not had experience with that one.

  • I don't have any advice on the cookbooks, but these are a great way to get some vegetables in their system:

When LJ was going through an anemic period I would give these to him since they were high iron.  Now he eats them ALL the time.  Most are a vegetable and fruit mix.  They're great as an on the go snack too.

Maybe that's a suggestion worth trying?  This one is a spinach/mango blend but there are others like butternut squash, etc....

  • Thanks Ladies

I ended up ordering the 2DD cook books, since amazon had them 'used' cheap :)
