I need your speech expertise for work!
I will accept the job offer. It will be a 10+% increase starting in March and work hours are better.
Problem is, now that I am going through a divorce and I am on my own financially, the new job offer doesn't pay enough and is not what I envisioned myself doing at 29. I want to stay with the company so I am going to apply to different jobs at another location. I have to disclose this since every time I would apply, they (my boss and HR) would get an email notification.
In a nutshell, I want to say " Thanks for the offer, I want it and accept it BUT I have to look for something better in the company due to my situation". How do you say the same thing without the negative BUT? My therapist suggested I use the word AND but I am having a hard time making a coherent sentence with "and". Any suggestions?

HJ, before I started applying, I talked to my HR and they fully support me. Trust me, the job I do now is not a career and the pay is crap, as in just above minimum wage. They fully support people wanting to move up in the company.
Also, it would be for something totally different. I can't be too specific here but I am not doing your regular 9 to 5 desk job.
I agree, do you really want to put that in writing? I would keep it short and sweet, anything written down can be misconstrued later.
If you really want to say it, something like
Thank you very much for your offer, I am excited at the new challenges this position presents and look forward to further opportunities in (this company).
