Jamie/Roses

Congrats on the new job.  Bet you're excited!  Quick question...my H and I are looking into getting away for a long weekend in January and we are considering Chicago (I know it'll be freezing).  Is The James Chicago centrally located to the major attractions?  Any other advice?  The James has a deal on sniqueaway right now for $99/night.

  • butting in....

Yes, the James Hotel is right in the midst of it all.  It's less than 2 blocks from Michigan Ave and near TONS of restaurants and nightlife!  If you are looking to go to the museums and/or Millenium Park, you're definitely looking at a cab ride - especially that time of year.  It would be a VERY chilly walk!

I can't comment on the hotel itself.  Never been, but it looks nice :)

I'm sure Roses has some other insight for you!

  • That's right, you're in Chi-town too!  Can't believe I forgot.  Thanks for the advice.  Any other hotels I should look into?
