Re: *AMrsin09*
Thanks!
H and I are both quitting. At the same time. Fun times in our household ...
We decided to use Champix, so it hasn't been as bad as cold turkey. H has had an easier time of it than I have. He says there have been a few nights where he was afraid to come home.
Oh well. It's his bad cholesterol that made us stop smoking, so he can just deal with my moods.
Thanks for the support!
I'm just waiting for my life to be so much better, as everyone has promised me would happen when I quit.
So far, I have developed a dry hacking cough, a constant hoarseness, a sore throat, a foul evil mood, stressed beyond belief, hyperventilating/rapid heart rate when I do get stressed. I can't sleep at night and I burst into tears at a moments notice.
But, I haven't quit my job yet, or fired anyone, so I guess that's a bonus
It took a while for me to see the difference but it really is lifechanging. I was drinking with a friend a few months ago and had a few cigs and really, really felt terrible the next day. It's amazing how abrupt it was.
You can do it!!!
